Here's What Our Partners Have to Say
During our Foundation Communities school supply drive, honestly, we would not have survived without Generation SERVE! You guys, your team, your volunteers - are all amazing, simply amazing. There was one point when I thought I was going to have to work all weekend long sorting all of our donations and then I blinked and it was done... all by your volunteers! It was mind-blowing - I am in awe. You guys are the best to work with and I am so grateful! Thank you for everything!!! " |
The coozies filled with brochures are a GIANT help to us and will be for months to come, and the Holiday Cards actually brought some staff members to tears. They are perfect. Thank you very much for reaching out to us to be a part of your Family Volunteering program! " |
Why Youth & Families?
Partner with Generation SERVE to introduce a whole new generation to the joys of volunteerism. Engaging kids in community service from a young age gives them a solid understanding of community needs and the confidence to make a difference in the world around them. Volunteering together as a family allows parents and guardians to communicate values to their children, such as empathy, compassion, and hard work - not by lecturing, but through the example of working together side-by-side.
Our nonprofit partners are amazed at what groups of families can accomplish! We see youth rise to the occasion every day when given the opportunity to contribute. Our activities encourage hard work and thoughtful discussion and our staff and Activity Leads make sure the work and conversations are family-friendly and meaningful. |
We hope you will partner with us as we develop lifelong volunteers & philanthropists!
