Job Description: Are you passionate about working with youth and seeing them grow into passionate philanthropic leaders? Do you love volunteering and want to encourage youth to become involved in their communities through leadership and volunteering? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Purpose: We are looking for an energetic and passionate Service Learning Specialist to lead our Generation SERVE Service Learning Program, or SLP. In this role, you will engage youth in volunteering and program oversight, including planning, implementation, daily operations, and measurement of the programs across Austin and Houston. You will also support the Teen Advisory Board, Teen Service Days, Teen Summer Camps, and other youth leadership opportunities throughout the year. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with youth (of all ages) and can engage youth and families in rewarding leadership and volunteering experiences. Work Site: The Service Learning Specialist is a hybrid position. Work locations include home, office, and fieldwork, and will report to the Generation SERVE Houston Program Manager. The position will be located in the Greater Austin area. The position will require travel between Austin and Houston and to partner organizations (Austin/Houston travel approximately 20%, travel and mileage included). Time Involvement Required: This is a full-time salaried position with 40 hours required per week. Hours will flex to accommodate required evening and weekend activities as youth are in school during weekdays. Ideal Educational Qualifications: Minimum of Associate's level and/or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
